So, first of all:
This is the new addition to the family. Her name is Dizzy, she’s a year old, and her hobbies include driving to and from San Francisco daily, transporting ridiculous purchases from Ikea, and—in the not-too-distant future—getting filled with cheerio crumbs.
We headed to Sacramento this week to elicit my parents’ help in purchasing a new car. Cris and I knew from the start that we couldn’t be trusted at a car dealership alone because we are both total pushovers (“What, this car costs $15k? HOW ABOUT WE GIVE YOU $20K IS THAT OK???”), so my stepdad went with Cris to to HAGGLE! on our behalf, while my mom watched the baby and I kinda wandered aimlessly around Target for hours, throwing random, frivolous things into the cart. RELATED: we now own a floor lamp, a toothbrush holder, more kitty litter, and ZERO adorable baby girl dresses from Liberty of London.
